Galapagos island hopping tours

This is a different way to enjoy the Galapagos Islands. You can spend a complete week combining the comfort of a hotel (ideal if you suffer from sea-sickness) with day tours exploring the main islands and their amazing wildlife.

ITINERARY 5 DAYS / 4 NIGHTS

Day 1

Transfer from Baltra airport to Santa Cruz Island. In the afternoon we visit the Highlands of Santa Cruz where we can observe the famous giant tortoises in their natural habitat. (L, D)

Day 2

After breakfast we will enjoy a boat excursion to visit one of the following islands: North Seymour, Bartholomew, Santa Fe or Plazas. (B,L,D)

Day 3

In the morning visit the Charles Darwin Research Station where we will find very good information about the islands, a tortoise breeding center and also we will have the chance to see “Lonesome George” the only surviving sub-species of Pinta Island.  After lunch, we travel to Isabela Island. On arrival we will visit the flamingo lagoon and in the afternoon “Las Tintoreras” with time for snorkelling (B,L,D)

Day 4

After breakfast we will visit Sierra Negra and Chico Volcano on Isabela Island, where we hike surrounded by a beautiful landscape. After a box lunch at this wonderful spot we return to Puerto Villamil for snorkelling. (B,L,D)

Day 5

Early in the morning after an unforgettable nature expedition in Galapagos we will return to Baltra to catch our flight back to Quito. (B,L)
